Teeth Whitening

Tooth whitening is not a medical procedure and it does not result in healthier teeth, however it can result in whiter teeth and a brighter smile. This in turn can make people feel better about themselves. The chemical used to bleach teeth is generally carbamide peroxide.

Bonding/white fillings

Dental bonding is a procedure in which a tooth-colored resin material (a durable plastic material) is applied and hardened with a special light, which ultimately “bonds” the material to the tooth to restore or improve a person’s smile.

Dental bridges literally bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth. A bridge is made up of two crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap. These two anchoring teeth are called abutment teeth, and false teeth are placed in between to fill the gap. These false teeth are called pontics and can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain, or a combination of these materials. Bridges can restore your smile, restore your ability to properly chew and speak, help maintain the shape of your face, distribute the forces in your bite properly and prevent remaining teeth from drifting out of position. The process of preparing your mouth for a bridge can take several visits as Dr. Falls prepares the teeth, creates a temporary bridge and finally delivers the permanent bridge into a patient’s mouth.

Dental veneers (sometimes called porcelain veneers or dental porcelain laminates) are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve your appearance and hold together cracked enamel. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size, or length.

Veneers are routinely used to fix, teeth that are discolored, teeth that are worn down, teeth that are chipped or broken, teeth that are misaligned, uneven, or irregularly shaped or teeth with gaps between them.
